This is your grandmother, Farina Thompson!
I love you and miss you each and everyday. It’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you boys.
It’s been 6 years and 3 months that our family has been interrupted by this tragedy.
I am heartbroken that we are not together. You boys are all in school, and growing up in the foster care system in Oklahoma.
I am sorry that you grandchildren are having to deal with and experience this type of life. My grandsons! Grandma, wants you all home. I have not given up on you boys.I love you boys with all my heart! With every ounce of blood that’s flowing through my body and veins.
It’s a shame, For the system has failed you boys, The system is broken. You boys should of been home. Unfortunately, the folks in Authority that’s holding their positions have abused their privilege and has caused us more pain and suffering.
My precious and dear grandsons, I send my love, hugs and kisses. Trust me! You’re not forgotten! Not by a long-shot. You boys have family tha loves you and it’s important for you all to know that.
I have been writing to you all, for the longest. I am not sure if you boys are even getting your letters. So! I have decided to go to the Internet, to put it out there. I want all of you boys to know the truth, and not what those people of Oklahoma and within the DHS and others may or may not be telling you boys.
I am your grandmother! That will never ever change! I pray for our family everyday. You children, have been through a lot during these last past 6 years and 3 months. I am with you all in heart and spirit. Grandma! loves you all a great deal.
It’s wrong for how the State of Oklahoma has treated you boys and our family in the case. The judge himself, has done this out of vengeance, toward me. Grandsons! I came prepared to getting you and your brothers out of the foster care system. Everything was, however denied by Judge. I want you children to know that.
You boys are from California, and not from Oklahoma.
Well Grandsons, I will always love you! You do have your grandmother. You all are not forgotten!
I pray that will be seeing each other soon in the future, That God will give us peace while we are enduring this awful life’s tragedy.
Foster care isn’t no place for children, who have family that’s want them. My grandsons! I am so sorry that you have had to go through this, the injustice by the Oklahoma Family Court and the Oklahoma DHS, they both have failed you and our family.
Melvin, Michael, Mizael, Teriq and Eric, you boys have a strong grandmother, that will not let this be swept under the rug. It’s an Injustice how the Judge – Judge Kirby have let the DHS system do this! Not Only that! He too! have done his dirt as well. That’s the reason we haven’t seen each other.
We haven’t had a visit since in 2 years. Since February 16 2010.
My grandsons, you are my life, my family and you are not forgotten.

Hi Farina, Your story breaks my heart.; I, like most people, thought that any parents having to deal with DHS/CPS must be horrible neglectful parents. So I understand where people who have never had to deal with anything like this- can think that stories like this are just something those parents make up while to make themselves look better. However, in May of this year, I was faced with a battle with them- which is still going on. If you would, I’d love to talk with you and compare stories and brainstorm, share info, etc. I’m also in Ok City. Dear Grandma I am so sorry for u. This is happening to me here in California I have been fighting for a year Judge Lois Haite in Contra Costa County Calif. She just doesnt like me and my little Grandbaby will suffer in the liong run. I am also in a nitemare and not waking up my little baby just turned 2 I am fit and a good person my baby is half black and i am wondering if judge is doing this because she is prejudice. I am Italian and Spanish and I love my grandbaby with all my heart. The judge is going to put my baby up for adoption and i cant let this happen I dont know what to do is there any one who can help me. I’m a grandmother to I am fighting for my 3 grandsons and my granddaughter who is 8 months old My 3 Grant send it was taken away from my daughter February 1st 2012 And then the social worker Janice Marquez took my granddaughter from me on January 31, 2013. DCSS lies bread is Byerly’s along with the police and everything taking children from innocent families. DCFS wants to terminate my daughter’s rights. I am the maternal grandmother of my 3 grandsons and my granddaughter the judge was about to give me my grandchin back to me on February 13th and then one of the attorneys for my granddaughter see it did it would not be in their best interest if that was to go with your grandmother and I’m a relative. I am a grandmother maternal grandmother of William, Kid’darious, Cayleb, Aaleyah Raymond #CK91741, DCFS 4060 Watson Plaza, Lakewood. CA 90712 and the Edmund D. Edelman Children’s Court detained my 3 grandsons on 02/01/2012 and then detained my granddaughter on 01/31/2013. My daughter’s social worker whose name is Janice Marquez. My granddaughter was rightfully place in my custody on 01/24/2013 after she had my daughter and her fiance falsely arrested. Then on 01/31/2013 my granddaughter was violently stolen from me by Janice Marquez my daughter’s Social Worker and 15 police officerspa

Saying that she needed to take her to make sure she was alright and safe until they can figure things out. And everybody knows their understanding of figuring things out is to manipulate lie steal they are the biggest thugs in town. The more bed DCFS can steal, and kidnap our children the bigger their bonuses are. DCFS don’t give a damn about our children all they care about is how much money they can make. I have love my grandchildren since the day they were born I was in the room when they were born you can’t get closer than that I am Nana to my to my grandchildren. The late Senator Nancy Schaefer had a report on CPS called “Evil Doings” in 2009 CPS was not very happy about it. Senator Nancy Schaefer at her husband were murdered in March 2010 right before the report was to be initiated against CPS. What is the use of having laws if they don’t protect people especially our children and grandchildren

I’m with you all the way they are doing the same thing to my grandsons and we need to all get together start a petition and keep fighting,because they are coming in kidnapping our children and selling them. Corupt doesn’t even describe what they are doing and it has to be stopped. We need one good attorney to take them on one that is not afaraid of them.So if any Attorneys read this and have the guts to take on these theives contact us and help get our kids back,we have been stripped from our grandparents rights.

Dhs did the same to my family feb2011 we could no afford an atty 7 to 10,000.00 to adopt our own blood. You are right they need to be stopped. Take care.

Carol, Hi I hope that things have gotten better since your post to me. By the way this is Farina. My prayers go out to you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers. I understand your pain and grief. I do definitely. With my grandchildren’s case it’s been 9 yrs & 8 mos. Yes. It’s still as painful as it was on the first day our lives were interrupted. I hope that you are taking care of yourself- for that is very important to do the best you can. Hang in there Carol. God Bless You,carry you and keep you strong.
